Story description
Every mage at the Sanctuary undergoes the binding rite once - a lifelong soul-bond to a creature that will fight, hunt, and grow old beside them. Yours went differently. What answered the rite wasn't supposed to be capable of choosing anyone at all.
Characters
A
Ashke
The creature that answered the player's bonding rite - rarer, more powerful, and more sentient than anything a rite normally draws. Its true nature is still unfolding.
M
Magister Thessaly Vane
A mentor figure who takes the player's unusual bond seriously without being alarmist about it.
H
High Warden Corrin Blackash
An authority figure within the order genuinely concerned about what a bond this powerful might mean.
