Story description
The ambush scattered what was left of your unit before you even understood what was happening. Radio silence since. No extraction point confirmed. No idea who's still alive besides you. You're deep in territory that was hostile before the war and is worse now, moving through terrain that offers no good options - only less bad ones. Every farmhouse might hold shelter or an informant. Every stranger might help you or report you. And the front line, wherever it actually is now, is farther away than any map in your pack accounts for. This isn't a story about winning the war. It's about making it through the next hour, and then the one after that, with whatever's left of who you were when this started.
