Withdrawal information

Scope

{Before publication, verify which contracts this information covers, whether they concern digital services, digital content or both, and the applicable national rules. Complete the contract type and remove inapplicable passages.}

This information applies to consumers who have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract with echory, particularly under applicable EU consumer law. Provider: {full legal name / company}, {postal address}, {email}, {telephone}. Relevant offer: {contract/service description}.

Consumer rules may also cover digital services supplied in return for personal data rather than a monetary price, unless that data is processed exclusively to supply the service or meet legal duties. Swiss law does not provide a general withdrawal right for ordinary online contracts; any applicable mandatory law or expressly agreed voluntary right remains unaffected. Voluntary Swiss right: {terms or none}.

Your right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from a covered contract within 14 days without giving a reason. For services and digital content supplied without a tangible medium, this period begins when the contract is concluded. Statutory rules on the start of the period, missing information and extensions remain applicable.

Notify {company, full postal address, email} of your decision through an unambiguous statement, for example by email or letter. You may use the form below, but do not have to. Sending your statement before the deadline is sufficient.

Online withdrawal

You may also withdraw through {URL and location of the withdrawal function actually available}. After submission, you will promptly receive an acknowledgement on a durable medium, for example by email, including the content, date and time of your statement.

{Before publication: Where an online withdrawal function is mandatory, it must actually be easily accessible throughout the withdrawal period, allow a clear statement and confirmation, and send the acknowledgement. This text page does not replace that function.}

Effects of withdrawal

We refund payments received promptly and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal statement. We use the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method without additional cost. No refund fee is charged.

If you expressly requested an early start of a paid service and received the required information, a legally permitted proportionate amount may be payable for services provided before withdrawal. Merely creating an account or using the service does not replace the required express request.

Access to the affected service may end after withdrawal. Mandatory rights to retrieve content you provided or created, and your data-protection rights, remain protected.

Early expiry – only where legal conditions are met

For paid services, complete performance ends the right only where the legal requirements are met, including your prior express consent to an early start and acknowledgement that the right is lost on complete performance. Starting an ongoing subscription alone does not have this effect.

For paid digital content supplied without a tangible medium, the right may end when supply begins if you previously gave express consent, acknowledged the loss of the right and received the required contract confirmation. There is no blanket exclusion for all digital services. Contracts without a monetary price and other cases are subject to their respective statutory requirements.
