Story description
1924. A letter arrives at the wrong door, and a reply starts a correspondence that matters more than it should.
Letters from Port Verne is an interactive historical romance carried by letters, written between a seaside town and a port across the water.
A romance on paper
- Write letters, wait for replies and fall for a voice that grows familiar on the page.
- Live 1920s life: post offices, typewriters, trams, dance halls and the memory of the war.
- Decide when to meet, and what a meeting could change.
Alex Penhallow writes warm, funny letters and is more guarded in person. Mina, your neighbor, reads over shoulders and keeps secrets well. Mr. Pettibone sorts the post with great fuss. Why the letter went astray and what each of you is not saying is different every time you play.
Warm, gentle and wry
The ache of waiting, with nothing forced and the pace yours to set.
The envelope is not yours and the pen is on the table. Do you write back?
