Story description
Five people, one kitchen, a chore chart nobody follows and a house that slowly becomes home.
Number 7, Second Floor is an interactive slice-of-life story about moving into a shared house and learning to live with other people.
A house and its people
- Share a kitchen, a bathroom rota, a broken boiler and Sunday dinners.
- Be there for a housemate's bad week, and let them be there for yours.
- Find the traditions that make a house yours: the jokes, the mugs, the late-night talks.
June organizes the house and cannot say no. Dariusz cooks enormous meals at odd hours. Mei Lin is exacting, dry and secretly the kindest. The fifth housemate is different every time you play.
Warm, funny and affectionate
Mugs in the sink and laughter from the kitchen. No plot, no villain.
There is an empty shelf in the fridge with your name on it. What goes on it first?
Characters
The housemate who has lived there longest. A freelance illustrator, warm, scatty, bad at saying no and the unofficial organizer.
A night-shift paramedic. Calm, funny, sleeps in the daytime and cooks enormous meals at odd hours.
A postgraduate student. Exacting, dry and secretly the kindest person in the house.
